Professor Joy Schaverien works as a Jungian psychoanalyst, psychotherapist and art psychotherapist in private practice. She supervises experienced practitioners and trainees. She also lectures at home and internationally on varied topics. Her research interests are reflected in her books and published articles.
Prior to training as an psychoanalyst and psychotherapist she has worked in the NHS in the UK and has held posts in Universities running the Master’s programme at the University of Hertfordshire.

This was another really great interview. As many of you know I attended boarding school. So this topic was something that I was fascinated by and really loved how Joy Schaverien shared so much wisdom and warmth. I certainly learnt a lot from speaking with her. Other boarding school survivors have commented how much they have enjoyed this podcast episode.
