With So Many Global Leaders in Business, Politics, Legal, Military & Media Having Been To Boarding School What Is The Impact on The World?

The documentary Boarding On Insanity is now live!

In this film we explore boarding schools and the impact that it is having on the world.

We will be looking at:

  • How many of the UKs leaders and the world in so many fields went to boarding school.
  • From Richard Branson to David Cameron and from Boris Johnson to the former Head of the English Church what is the impact of boarding school on those who attended?
  • How has boarding school and the leaders who attended impacted global decision making over the past few hundred years?
  • Has it had any impact on slavery, human rights issues, and children's welfare?
  • What about on the working classes?
  • The film will also look to interweave my own story of life at boarding school.
  • We will also look at the solutions.

We began in September 2022 by going down to London to film  one of the leaders in this field, Nick Duffell  to start creating the trailer for the documentary.

We have now filmed many interviews  with some of the leading figures in the trauma, child development and boarding school syndrome world from Dr Gabor Mate to Nick Duffell, from Dr Suzanne Zeedyk to Prof Joy Schaverien.

As of 2025 the FILM is now live.  You can now watch it.

Trigger warning:  Please note that the trailer contains reference to abuse and suicide.

How To Survive & Thrive in Challenging Times

101 Ways To Cultivate Resilience, Well-being & Inner Peace In All Areas of Your Life

We are currently going through challenging times. From Covid-19, to the lock-down, and from loss of earnings to problems in relationships we as humans are currently facing huge challenges.

And yet what would it be like to not only survive these challenging times but to also thrive? What would it be like to learn how to cultivate resilience, well being and inner peace even when life is chaotic?

Piers Cross describes how these difficulties can be transformed. Here, Piers reveals his own journey from London's corporate world to having a breakdown, becoming homeless and struggling with drink and drugs.

Piers then describes his journey to a Buddhist monastery where for 3 years he started to learn to heal and overcomes his challenges. What are the teachings, tools and practices that he learned on his journey from breakdown to breakthrough?

With clarity, open-heartedness and an accessible style Piers Cross covers topics as far ranging as exercise, sleep, relationships, spirituality, health and finances.

He teaches not only about thriving but gives exercises for how to do it. He also asserts that happiness, and well being is a skill that can be learned and that it is through these challenges that you can thrive too.
