Boarding School Trauma and Recovery.
Today, I wanted to update you the progress of my second book, Boarding School Trauma and Recovery.
As I shared in my first post (which you can read here) what I thought would only take a few months is now over two years in the making.
Since last posting several things to note have happened with my book.
So now I wait until my reviewers send in their opinions. They will decide whether the book is worthy of being published or not.
If they decide that it is not publishable, hopefully I will get some feedback to what I can change to improve it.
If not I will look at finding other publishers.
In the meantime I would love to get some support from you.
Routledge has said that the bigger the audience, and the more interest, the more likely they will take me on.
So if you are interested in supporting my book, leaving a positive review on Amazon and sharing my book then please do show your interest in by entering your email address below.

The question is: does this story interest you?
Has boarding school affected you?
Did you go? Or do you know someone who did who you can see really struggles?
If you would like to read this story there are a few ways that you can help:
1. Put your name onto this email list.
What I am looking for is people who are willing to be supporters of this book. I would love for those that are interested to read it, if they like it to leave a review on Amazon and then share it with others.
I can then share with the potential publishers that I have an audience of people who will buy it.
I will use this list to just update people about where the book is with its publication and when it is released:
2. Share this page or email people who you feel might be interested.
The truth is that I can't do this on my own.
I have tried (especially at boarding school) and I didn't get very far.
I feel that the boarding school system not only needs to change but those who went there (and there are many of us) need healing.
Nick Duffell, Joy Schaverien, and others' work is amazing - hopefully my voice will join them to show that we can go through trauma and come out the other side.
Thank you so much for reading this blog post.
